Except as provided in Subdivision (g) of § 1180
of the Vehicle and Traffic Law, whenever maximum school speed limits
have been established on a highway adjacent to a school as authorized
in § 1620, 1622, 1630, 1643 or 1662-a of the Vehicle and
Traffic Law, no person shall drive in excess of such maximum school
speed limits during school days between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and
6:00 p.m.
