The following penalties are established for violations of this chapter:

For a conviction of a first offense, a fine of not less than $50; for a conviction of a second offense, a fine of not less than $100; for a conviction of a third or subsequent offense, a fine of not less than $150.

Failure to yield right-of-way at yield sign
A fine of not less than $25 nor more than $100 or imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both such fine and imprisonment

A fine of not less than $25 nor more than $100 or imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both such fine and imprisonment

Improper or unsafe turn or lane change or failure to signal intent

VIII
Speeding in school zone, school days between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
A fine of not less than $25 nor more than $100 or imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both such fine and imprisonment
For a second conviction within 18 months, such person shall be punished by a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $200 or by imprisonment for not more than 45 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment
Upon a third and subsequent convictions within 18 months after the first conviction, such person shall be punished by a fine of not less than $75 nor more than $300 or by imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment

Speeding in zone
Excess speed 1 to 10 mph over the limit
A minimum fine of $30, maximum of $100
Excess speed 11 to 30 mph over the limit
A minimum fine of $60, maximum of $200 or imprisonment for a term of not more than 15 days or by both such fine and imprisonment
Excess of 31 mph or more over the limit
A minimum fine of $120, maximum $400, and imprisonment of not more than 30 days, or both such fine and imprisonment
