No person shall sell, offer for sale or expose for sale or transport or have in his possession, or set off, any firecrackers, torpedoes, rockets, roman candles or fireworks of any description at any time in the Village of Saranac Lake. The Board of Trustees may sanction the public display of fireworks by properly qualified individuals or organizations by the granting of a permit to be obtained from the Village Manager of the Village of Saranac Lake, New York.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be liable to a penalty of $100 for each offense.
