Pursuant to the provisions of Connecticut General
Statutes, Sec. 12-129, the Tax Collector for the Town of Colchester
is authorized to retain any tax payments received that, for whatever
reason, are in excess of the amount due, provided the amount of the
excess payment is less than $5.
