From and after the passage of this chapter, it shall be unlawful
for any person, partnership, firm or corporation to manufacture, assemble,
sell, offer for sale, expose for sale, possess for sale, give, deliver,
possess, discharge or explode within the Borough limits any fireworks
or any inflammable, explosive or dangerous article in the nature of
fireworks except as hereinafter provided.
It shall be lawful for any person, partnership, firm or corporation
desiring to have a display or exhibition of discharging fireworks
to conduct such display or exhibition, provided such person, partnership,
firm or corporation shall furnish a person expert in the use thereof
to conduct such display or exhibition who shall first present satisfactory
evidence of his skill in the use thereof to the Chief of Police of
the Borough and who shall obtain from the Chief of Police a written
permit to conduct such a display or exhibition at a fixed time and
place and who further shall give a bond, with surety, to the Borough
for the use of any persons injured in the amount of $5,000.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision
of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay
a fine of not more than $600, plus costs, and, in default of payment
of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 30
days. Every day that a violation of this chapter continues shall constitute
a separate offense.
