Volunteer firemen who are also employed by the Town of Bethlehem
shall be allowed to answer fire alarms during working hours without
loss of pay. This, of course, providing their leaving the work area
would not cause danger to persons or property or be a hazard to the
public. They would be released from fire duty at the discretion of
the officer in charge at the fire scene.
