It is the desire of the Board of Township Commissioners of the Township of Elizabeth in the County of Allegheny, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and said Board hereby signifies its intention to organize an Authority under the Municipality Authorities Act of May 2nd, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, P.L. 382 as amended.

In pursuance of said desire and intention and in conformity with the terms and provisions of said Municipality Authorities Act and its amendments, the proposed Articles of Incorporation are hereby set forth in full as follows:
ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION OF THE SCHOOL AUTHORITY.
To: The Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
In compliance with the requirements of the Municipality Authorities Act of 1945, approved the second day of May, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended, and pursuant to an ordinance adopted by the municipal authorities of the Township of Elizabeth, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, that a Municipal Authority be established under the provisions of the aforementioned law, the undersigned municipal authorities of the Township of Elizabeth, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, desiring that a Municipal Authority be established and that a Certificate of Incorporation be issued to said Authority, do hereby certify:
(a)
The name of the Authority shall be: The School Authority of the Township of Elizabeth, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
(b)
The Authority is formed under the Act of May 2nd, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended.
(c)
There has been organized within the Township of Elizabeth, under the provisions of the Act approved the 28th day of June, 1935, P.L. 463, an Authority known as "Elizabeth Township Authority" and the same is in existence within said Township. The said Elizabeth Township Authority was formed to undertake the following projects:
(a)
the construction, improvement, maintenance, extension and operation of a water-works, water supply works and a water distribution system for all or any part or parts of said Township, including the acquisition of such land for a water-works site, pumping stations, reservoirs, filtration plant, pipe lines, fire hydrants, and all other necessary or convenient facilities and apparatus, by the exercise of the right of eminent domain, lease, purchase, gift, grant, license or otherwise, as the Board of said Authority may authorize as necessary for said project, for a supply of water for domestic, commercial, industrial and other uses, and for fire protection, in all or any part or parts of said Township, and (b) such other project and/or projects as the Township of Elizabeth shall, from time to time by ordinance specify.
(d)
The name of the incorporating municipality is "The Township of Elizabeth, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania."
The names and addresses of the municipal authorities of the Township of Elizabeth, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, are as follows: (Here followed the names and addresses of the Township officers.)
all being residents of the Township of Elizabeth, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
(e)
The names and addresses and terms of office of the first members of the Board of said Authority are as follows: (Here followed the names, addresses and terms of office of the first Authority Board members.)
all of whom reside in and are citizens of the Township of Elizabeth, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
WITNESS the hand of the President of the Board of Township Commissioners and the seal of the Township, attested by the Secretary of the Board of Township Commissioners.

The said proposed Articles of Incorporation of said Authority shall be executed by and on behalf of the Township of Elizabeth by the President of said Board of Township Commissioners and the seal of said Township shall be thereunto affixed, attested by the Secretary of the Board of Township Commissioners and filed with the Secretary of the Commonwealth. The Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to cause to be published the Notice of Intention to file the Articles of Incorporation with the Secretary of the Commonwealth as required by the aforementioned Act.

The projects to be undertaken are: The acquiring, holding, constructing, improving, maintaining and operating, owning, leasing either in the capacity of lessor or lessee, public school buildings, and the acquiring of necessary sites therefor.
