[HISTORY: Adopted by the Borough Council of the Borough of
Port Vue 4-18-1961 by Ord. No. 193 (Ch. 1, Part 6, of the 1989 Code of
Ordinances). Amendments noted where applicable.]
It is the desire of the Council of the Borough of Port Vue,
Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and the Council hereby signifies its
intention to organize an Authority under the Municipality Authorities
Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended.[1]

The following persons are hereby appointed members of the Port
Vue Borough Authority, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, for the terms
of office as indicated:

The name of the proposed Authority shall be "Port Vue Borough
Authority, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania."
Pursuant to said desire and intention of the Council of the
Borough of Port Vue and in conformance with the terms and provisions
of said Municipality Authorities Act of 1945 and its amendments, the
proposed Articles of Incorporation are hereby set forth in full, as

In compliance with requirements of the Municipality Authorities
Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended, and pursuant to ordinance
adopted by the Municipal Authority of the Borough of Port Vue, Allegheny
County, Pennsylvania, signifying their desire and intention to form
a municipality authority and that a Certificate of Incorporation be
issued to said Authority, the Borough of Port Vue does hereby certify:

The name of the Authority shall be: Port Vue Borough Authority,
Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

The Authority is formed under the Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382,
as amended.

The School District of the Borough of Port Vue is one of the
members of a Joint Authority known as the South Allegheny Joint School
Authority, organized under the Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended,
on May 3, 1960. No other Authority has been organized under the provision
of the Acts approved the 28th day of June, 1935, P.L. 463 and the
2nd day of May, 1945, P.L. 382.
