All laws of the State pertaining to fishing in State lakes are hereby adopted and incorporated by reference herein, except no person shall in lakes on City park properties have or control any trout line, bank line, throw line, jug fishing or fish trap of any kind or character.

Fishing by any bona fide resident of the City of Harrisonville, residents of Cass County and persons who pay City and County personal or real property taxes and guests of either when accompanied thereby shall be permitted in all lakes except where otherwise posted. (Exception: County/City residency is not required for North City Lake.) Any person fishing must have a valid fishing permit of the State, if so required by the State, upon his/her person.

It shall be unlawful for any person to fish with white sucker or carp minnows or to put any surplus minnows in the lake and such person must remove the same from the lake premises. All minnows must be presented for inspection to any officer or agent of the City or State upon request.

Wading with boots to fish will be permitted, except where posted to the contrary for the protection of spawning beds.
