It shall be unlawful for any person to park, keep, store or
leave any boat, trailer or unlicensed or inoperable motor vehicle
within the right-of-way of any street, highway or other public way
in the City.

A. It shall be unlawful for any person to park, keep, store or leave any boat, trailer, unlicensed or inoperable motor vehicle on any unimproved or vacant lot or tract of ground or in the front yard, or in the front yard or street side of any corner lot of any premises or portions thereof, paved or unpaved, in the "A" and "B" Residential Districts in the City as such "A" and "B" Residential Districts are established by zoning regulations, except when any boat or trailer is parked for the purpose of being loaded for use or unloaded after being used, and by non-residents visiting within the City as is provided by Section
215.2240 and when such boat or trailer is being loaded for use or being unloaded after use, or when such boat or trailer is owned by a non-resident as is set forth in Section
215.2240, such boat and/or trailer shall be located upon an established driveway on any such premises, providing for ingress and egress therefrom.
B. Definitions. As used in this Section, the following words
shall have the meanings set out herein:
CORNER LOTS
A lot abutting upon two (2) or more streets at their intersection.
FRONT YARD
A yard extending across the front of a lot between the side
yard lines, and being the minimum horizontal distance between the
street line and the main building or any projections thereof other
than steps, unenclosed balconies or unenclosed porches. In regard
to corner lots there must also be the same restrictions and prohibitions
in the area between the street line and the side of the main building
or any projections thereof other than steps, unenclosed balconies
or unenclosed porches.
C. It
shall be unlawful for any person to park, keep, store or leave or
to permit any person to park, keep, store or leave any inoperable
motor vehicles or any other vehicle in the front yard or in the front
yard and street sides of any corner lot of any premises in the "A"
and "B" Residence Districts as such districts are established by zoning
regulations.
D. Any
person found guilty of violating any provision of this Section, shall
upon conviction be subject to a fine of lot less than ten dollars
($10.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) and/or a sentence
of up to ninety (90) days in the County Jail.

A. It
shall be unlawful for any person to park, keep, store or leave any
boat, trailer, or motor vehicle for a period longer than twenty (20)
days on any lot or tract of ground in the "C" and "C-1" Commercial
Districts of the City, as such districts are established by zoning
regulations, except on any such lots or tracts of ground on which
such vehicles are kept and stored for repair by a garage or merchant
duly licensed by the City to conduct a repair garage for any such
vehicle, or for repair or sale by a dealer duly licensed by the City
to conduct a repair garage and sales agency for the repair or sale
of any such vehicles, and except when any boat or trailer is being
loaded for use or unloaded after being used.
B. It
shall be unlawful for any person to permit the parking, keeping, storing
or leaving of any boat, trailer or motor vehicle for a period longer
than twenty (20) days upon any premises owned, leased, occupied or
used by any such person on any lot or tract of ground in the "C" and
"C-1" Commercial Districts of the City, as such districts are established
by zoning regulations, except on any such lots or tracts of ground
on which such vehicles are kept and stored for repair by a garage
or merchant duly licensed by the City to conduct a repair garage for
any such vehicle, or for repair or sale by a dealer duly licensed
by the City to conduct a repair garage and sales agency for the repair
or sale of any such vehicles, and except when any boat or trailer
is being loaded for use or unloaded after being used.

A non-resident of the City visiting a resident may, by special
permit issued by the Board of Aldermen upon application therefor,
be permitted to park a boat or trailer on an established driveway
on any premises in the "C" and "C-1" Commercial and the "A" and "B"
Residence Districts in the City between the street right-of-way line
and the front building line of any such premises for a period of not
more than ten (10) days.

It shall be unlawful for any person to leave or store any automobile
body, truck body or any other miscellaneous automobile or truck parts
on any unimproved lot or tract of ground in the City, or on any improved
premises in the City.

A. It
shall be unlawful to park, store or garage, or permit the parking,
storing or garaging of any vehicles used for collecting, hauling or
transporting garbage, rubbish, refuse or other waste materials or
matter on any premises in the City of Rock Hill except on premises
in the "E" Industrial Districts as such districts are established
by the Zoning Code of the City.
B. Any
vehicles used for collecting, hauling or transporting garbage, rubbish,
refuse or other waste materials or matter in an "E" Industrial District,
as is provided by this Section, shall be empty, and shall not contain
any garbage, refuse, rubbish or other waste material or matter, and
shall be kept clean and in a sanitary condition while so parked, stored
or garaged.
C. Any
person violating any of the provisions of this Section shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction therefor, shall be fined
in a sum of not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor less than
ten dollars ($10.00).
