[HISTORY: Adopted by the Borough Council of the Borough of Kenhorst 4-29-1975 by Ord. No. 321 (Ch. 6, Part 1, §§ 10 and 11, of the 1973 Code of Ordinances). Amendments noted where applicable.]
Except in necessary defense of person or property, it shall be unlawful, within the Borough of Kenhorst, for any person to use, fire or discharge any gun or other firearm, including but not limited to rifles, pistols, airguns, zip guns and spring-loaded guns; provided: this shall not apply where the firearm is lawfully used in hunting as provided for by the Pennsylvania Game Law[1] and by the rules and regulations of the Pennsylvania Game Commission.

Any person or persons violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, Article I, Enforcement; General Penalty, of this Code.
