There is hereby established on the premises hereinafter described
an additional municipal parking lot for the parking of motor vehicles
to be designated as "Parking Lot No. 9."
Municipal Parking Lot No. 9 shall be located on the lot designated
as Block No. 255, Lot No. 1, on the official Tax Map of the Township
of Cranford, New Jersey, and located at the end of Birch Street.
A.
No person shall park or permit any vehicle to park in said lot between
the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.
B.
The Chief of Police may designate certain parking spaces for handicapped
persons. Such spaces shall be properly posted and shall be available
only to vehicles with proper special identification as belonging to
handicapped persons. Such designation of handicapped person spaces
shall conform in all ways to the appropriate state statute and regulations.
C.
Eight parking spaces shall be reserved for employees of the pool
complex. Such spaces shall be properly posted and available only to
those vehicles which have a special permit issued by the Pool Director
and displayed in the right rear window of the vehicle. No other vehicles
shall be parked in those spaces.
D.
If any vehicle is parked in any parking area herein provided for
in violation of the provisions of this article, the Police Department
may cause any such vehicle to be removed to such a place as is designated
by the Chief of Police. The owner or operator of any vehicle so removed
shall pay the reasonable cost and expense of such removal and storage
which may result.
