ORDINANCE NO. 60
A CHARTER ORDINANCE
RELATING TO THE COMBINING OF THE OFFICE OF VILLAGE PRESIDENT WITH THE OFFICE OF COUNTY SUPERVISOR
The Village Board of the Village of Campbellsport do hereby ordain as follows;
Section 1. Pursuant to Sections 59.03, 61.195 and 66.01 of the Wisconsin Statutes the Village of Campbellsport hereby elects to combine the office of Village President and County Supervisor.
Section 2. This ordinance shall not in any way affect the right of any person holding any of the aforementioned offices either at the time of the passage of the ordinance or at the time it takes effect to complete his term of office.
Section 3. This is a charter ordinance and shall take effect 60 days after its passage and publication, unless within such 60 days a referendum petition as provided by Section 66.01 of the Wisconsin Statutes shall be filed, in which event this Ordinance shall not take effect until it shall have been submitted to a referendum of the electors and approved by a majority of the electors voting thereon.

ORDINANCE NO. 62
A CHARTER ORDINANCE
RELATING TO THE SELECTION OF A VILLAGE ASSESSOR
The Village Board of the Village of Campbellsport does hereby ordain as follows:
Section 1. Pursuant to Sections 61.195, 61.197 and 66.01 of the Wisconsin Statutes, the Village of Campbellsport hereby elects not to be governed by those portions of Sections 61.19, 61.23 and Subsection 2 of Section 61.25 of the Statutes which relate to the selection and tenure of the Assessor and which are in conflict with this ordinance.
Section 2. There is hereby created the office of Village Assessor, who shall be appointed by the President of the Village as provided in Section 3 of this ordinance, subject to confirmation by the affirmative vote of 2/3 of the members of the Village Board. Said Assessor shall hold office for an indefinite term subject to removal as provided by law. Such term shall begin on May 1st of the year in which the appointment is made.
Section 3. Prior to any appointment of Assessor all candidates for the office shall be examined by a committee of three, one of whom must be a member of the Village Board other than the President, the remaining two to be appointed by the President from the electors of the community. The Trustee appointed as a member of the committee shall be appointed by the President. Each candidate shall file an application, stating in detail his education, experience and qualifications for the position. The committee shall provide for additional tests to ascertain the fitness of the individual candidate. The committee shall submit to the President and the Village Board a written report on the qualifications of each candidate, indicating their numerical rating based on the application and the examination, which shall be filed with the Village Commissioner and open for inspection, but not for transcribing. The appointment shall be made from the three persons ranking highest in the examination.
Section 4. This ordinance shall not in any way affect the right of any person holding the office, either at the time of the passage of the ordinance or at the time it takes effect, to complete his term of office.
Section 5. The office of Assessor shall have the duties of Assessor as prescribed by the statutes and subject to such other rules and regulations as shall be prescribed by the Village Board.
Section 6. This is a charter ordinance and shall take effect 60 days after its passage and publication, unless within such 60 days a referendum petition as provided by Section 66.01 of the Wisconsin Statutes shall be filed, in which event this Ordinance shall not take effect until it shall have been submitted to a referendum of the electors and approved by a majority of the electors voting thereon.

ORDINANCE NO. 63

RELATING TO THE SELECTION OF VILLAGE CLERK AND VILLAGE TREASURER
The Village Board of the Village of Campbellsport do hereby ordain as follows:
Section 1. Pursuant to Sections 61.195, 61.197 and 66.01 of the Wisconsin Statutes, the Village of Campbellsport hereby elects not to be governed by those portions of Sections 61.19, 61.23 and Subsection 2 of Section 61.25 of the Statutes which relate to the selection and tenure of the Clerk and Treasurer and which are in conflict with this ordinance.
Section 2. There is hereby created the office of Village Clerk-Treasurer, who shall be appointed by the Village President and confirmed by the affirmative vote of 2/3 of the members of the Village Board. The said Clerk-Treasurer shall hold office for an indefinite term subject to removal as provided by law. Such term shall begin on May 1st of the year in which the appointment is made.
Section 3. The Village Clerk-Treasurer shall perform the duties of the Clerk and Treasurer as set forth by the Wisconsin Statutes and such other duties as shall be required by the Village Board.

ORDINANCE NO. 64
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A MUNICIPAL RESERVE FUND
The Village Board of the Village of Campbellsport does ordain as follows:
Section 1. There is hereby established in the Village of Campbellsport a fund, separate and distinct from every other fund, and designated as the "Municipal Reserve Fund for Ornamental Street Lighting."
Section 2. The sources of said fund shall be the money now in the Village General Funds listed under "Street Lighting or Ornamental Street Lighting," and the funds appropriated under such heading in the general tax, together with funds from any source whatsoever, as the Village Board may, by resolution by a two-thirds vote, from time to time direct to be paid into said fund; and also, any gifts that may be made to the Village for that purpose.
Section 3. The Village Clerk-Treasurer shall keep a separate record relating to such fund, including an accurate account of the transactions, investments, earnings and expenditures, and shall make a report annually on or about the 15th day of January of each year to the Village Board.
Section 4. Disbursements, investments, sale or transfer of any securities or any part of such fund shall be by resolution of the Village Board, on Village orders, signed by the Village President and the Clerk-Treasurer. All interest or income earned by said fund on its investments shall, when it accrues, be added to said fund to augment the same for the purposes for which said fund is provided. Any change or disbursement in and from said fund shall be by resolution passed by a majority of the Village Board.
Section 5. This is a charter ordinance and shall take effect 60 days after its passage and publication, unless within such 60 days a referendum petition shall be filed, as provided by Section 66.01 of the Wisconsin Statutes, in which event this ordinance shall not take effect until submitted to a referendum, and approved by a majority of the electors voting thereon.
