A.
There shall be a Department of Building and Inspections, the head
of which shall be shall be the Construction Official, who shall be
appointed by the Township Manager. The compensation of the Construction
Official shall be adopted by ordinance of the Council upon recommendation
of the Township Manager.
B.
Powers and duties of Construction Official. The Construction Official
shall have, exercise and discharge the functions, powers and duties
of a Construction Official as provided by the Uniform Construction
Code and the Code of the Township of Verona or any other duties as
may be assigned by the Township Manager.
