Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:10A-1 et seq. all business owners, rental unit owners and owners of a multifamily home having four or fewer units, one of which is owner-occupied, shall register a certificate of insurance in the office of the City Clerk on an annual basis, which office shall maintain a registry of certificates of insurance filed; and each registration shall be accompanied by a payment of $50 as an administrative fee for such registration payable to the City of Egg Harbor.
Any owner who fails to comply with the provisions of this chapter may be subject to a fine of not less than $500 nor more than $1,000 per violation.
