Town of Busti, NY Uses

The following set of tables contain a list of all land uses allowed within the Town of Busti's Zoning Districts, with the exception of the Hamlet (H), Lakeshore Residential (LR) and Highway Commercial Districts, which are listed separately in Article VI of this chapter. All uses listed here, and in Article VI, are subject to the general provisions, supplemental regulations, and where applicable, the industrial and commercial performance standards contained within this chapter. General provisions, specific district regulations, supplemental regulations, and industrial and commercial performance standards applicable to uses in all zoning districts are given in Article V, Article VI and Article VII of this chapter.

No lot, building or premises shall be erected, altered, or used that does not comply with one or more of the uses designated in the following table for each zoning district.

Uses not included in the use table shall be considered prohibited.

Acronyms in the following table have these meanings:

(1)

R – Designates a use permitted by right. A building permit may be required and may be required to comply with associated supplemental requirements in Article VII of this chapter.

(2)

S – Designates a use subject to approval of a special use permit.

(3)

S/P – Designates a use subject to site plan review and approval of a special use permit.
