[HISTORY: Adopted by the Mayor and Council
of the Borough of Rockaway 8-8-1991 by Ord. No. 18-91. Amendments noted where
applicable.]
On the 11th day of July 1991, the attached Rules
of the Rockaway Fire Department[1] be and the same are hereby adopted as set forth therein.

Editor's Note: The Rules and Regulations of
the Rockaway Fire Department are included at the end of this chapter.
Such rules for the Rockaway Fire Department
shall become effective upon the passage of this ordinance at a second
reading thereof, upon its publication, and as provided by law.
The Rules of the Rockaway Fire Department shall
become an appendix to the Code of Ordinances of the Borough of Rockaway
and may from time to time be changed and amended by the Mayor and
Council of the Borough of Rockaway by ordinance as provided by law.
The Rules of the Rockaway Fire Department shall
be duplicated in sufficient number to be distributed among the members
of the Fire Department, all of its officers and any prospective members
of the Department who may wish to become members of the Rockaway Fire
Department.
