The purpose of this article is to provide for
identification of dogs, the control and protection of the dog population,
protection of persons and property and financing of all dog-related
expenses through the increase of the licensing fees.

The annual fee for each dog license issued pursuant
to Subdivision 1 of § 109 of Article 7 of the Agriculture
and Markets Law shall be as set by the Town Board from time to time.[1]
