Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7-148 of the General Statutes
of the State of Connecticut, as amended (Public Act 126, 1967 Legislature),
the Town of Wallingford is hereby authorized to maintain an ambulance service.
Said ambulance service shall be under the control and supervision of
the Ambulance Committee of the Town of Wallingford, consisting of the Mayor
of the Town of Wallingford, the Safety Director, the Director of Health, the
Chief of Police, the Fire Chief and the members of the Medical Advisory Board.
The Ambulance Committee shall establish a code of operation for ambulance
service in the Town of Wallingford and shall have sole authority to enforce
this code.
The Ambulance Committee shall establish a schedule of fees for such
ambulance service.
