The service charge for a check or other written
instrument for deposit in any county account returned for insufficient
funds shall be $20 per check or other written instrument.
Any service charge authorized by this chapter
shall be collected in the same manner prescribed by law for the collection
of the account for which the check or other written instrument was
tendered.
Any future payments on an account for which
a check or other written instrument has been returned for insufficient
funds or by any person or entity which has previously tendered an
instrument which has been returned for insufficient funds may be required
to be tendered by money order, certified check or cashier's check.
