Pursuant to § 1203-c of the Vehicle and Traffic Law
of the State of New York, the following areas of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson
are hereby designated as places for parking for handicapped persons;
and parking in said areas by other persons is hereby prohibited:

The Village Manager shall be the issuing agent
for permits to handicapped persons received from the Commissioner
of Motor Vehicles of the State of New York. He shall be empowered
to prescribe forms of application and conditions for the issuance
and denial, suspension or revocation of permits.

As used in this article, the following terms
shall have the meanings indicated:
Any person who has been issued a valid handicapped permit
or license plate from the State of New York, or an equivalent jurisdiction.
