Except as provided in § 187-2, Exceptions, helicopters shall not take off or land or discharge or take on passengers or cargo within the boundaries of the Village of Tarrytown.
Helicopters shall not be subject to the prohibitions in § 187-1, provided that the helicopter is used exclusively in the service of the government of the United States or the service of the National Guard of the State of New York or there exists emergency conditions in the Village of Tarrytown or a public safety need exists, as determined by the Chief of Police.
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
HELICOPTER
As included in § 240 of the General Business Law of the State of New York.
Penalties shall be as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article II.
