No person shall, at any place within the Town of Owasco, exhibit, conduct or hold for public entertainment or amusement, for money or other valuable consideration, any circus, carnival or any other similar amusement for commercial purposes without first obtaining a license or permit therefor from the Town Clerk, on approval of the Town Board.

The fee for such license or permit, to be paid at the time of the issuing of the same, shall be $100 for a period not to exceed six months. Said fee may be adjusted by resolution of the Town Board.
Such license may be revoked for good and sufficient reasons at any time by the Town Board, and the fee for the license of the unexpired term shall be forfeited to the Town.

Any person violating any provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a violation, punishable, upon conviction, by a maximum fine of $250 or by imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both.
