All City employees, including clerical assistants,
paid firemen, police officers, skilled and unskilled laborers and,
in general, all employees of the City, except Fire Department officers,
shall be paid on a biweekly schedule and on a Friday, and such employees
receiving a yearly rate of compensation shall have their salary paid
on a biweekly schedule on a Friday. Whenever the Friday falls on a
bank holiday, biweekly salaries shall be paid on the preceding business
day.
Fire Department officers and other officials
appointed under the authority of the City Charter shall be paid monthly.
