Every officer or employee shall, upon termination, deliver forthwith to his successor or, if there be no successor, to the Manager, all monies, papers, books, memoranda, accounts and data pertaining to his office.
Every officer and employee whose compensation is established on a full-time basis shall devote his entire time during business hours to the duties of his office.
Except as otherwise provided herein, all personnel, records, and property of the Township are transferred to the department to which the functions, powers and duties are transferred by this chapter.

A. 
No officer or employee of the Township of Lower who is required to obtain and maintain a state license or certification in order to provide the services mandated by his or her position to the Township of Lower shall be required to be a resident of the Township of Lower.
B. 
Nothing contained herein shall be deemed to apply to any officer or employee required to hold a license to operate a motor vehicle and/or a commercial driver's license (CDL) from the State of New Jersey, it being the express intention of the Township that persons required to hold a driver's license or CDL shall not be exempt from any residency requirement otherwise imposed upon them by any other ordinance or ordinances of the Township of Lower.
