The Board of Selectmen of the Town of North Haven be and are hereby
authorized to sell and convey and to execute any deed of conveyance or transfer
of title as may be necessary in behalf of said town whatever interest the
Town of North Haven or the Tax Collector of said town as such Collector shall
have acquired to any real estate or personal property under any tax sale held
by said Tax Collector of said town because of nonpayment of taxes, such property
to be sold to the highest bidder by the Board of Selectmen of the Town of
North Haven in such amounts and upon such terms and conditions, at either
private or public sale, as said Board of Selectmen may determine and deem
for the best interest of said town.
All properties shall be legally advertised for bids before sale.
