Established; members. There is hereby established
the Bernards Township Tree Protection Committee, which shall consist
of three members. One of such members shall be the Township Engineer,
or his designee, on the advice and consent of the Township Committee.
The Environmental Commission and the Shade Tree Commission shall also
each appoint one of its members to the Tree Protection Committee.
The appointments shall be for the calendar year and shall expire on
December 31 of the year of appointment.

Vacancy. A vacancy caused by death or resignation
shall be filled for the unexpired term.
|

c.
|
Powers and duties. The Tree Protection Committee
may elect officers and shall maintain a record of its proceedings.
A majority of the Committee may act upon any application in the absence
of one of its members.
