Except as set forth in the Upland Zoning Code, Chapter 185, Article XX, Mobile Home Regulations, of the Codified Ordinances of the Borough of Upland, the use of automobile trailers and mobile homes for dwelling purposes is hereby prohibited at any place within the Borough of Upland.

Parking or stopping of trailers which can be towed by a standard automobile, mobile homes, camper trailers, trailer coaches and trailers, on tracts of land owned by any person for the seasonal or temporary storage of any such devices is hereby permitted.

The storage of said devices on any public street, alley or parking lot customarily intended for the parking of automobiles or light trucks is hereby prohibited.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $600 and costs of prosecution and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, to imprisonment for not more than 30 days. Each day a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense, which shall be punishable as such hereunder.
