[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Meeting of
the Town of Walpole as Article III, Sec. 6, of the 1973 General Bylaws,
as updated through 2002. Subsequent amendments noted where applicable.]
[Amended 10-21-2019 FATM, Art. 20]
No Town officer and no salaried employee of
the Town or any agent of any such officer or employee shall receive
any compensation for work done or service performed by him or her
for the Town except his or her official salary and fees allowed by
the law, without permission of the Select Board or other board authorizing
such work or service; expressed in a vote which shall appear on the
records of such board with the reason therefore.
