At the biennial municipal election held on October
7, 1963, a vote taken on the question of adopting the provisions of
C.G.S. §§ 7-170 through 7-186, as amended, pertaining
to the operation and conduct of bazaars and raffles, showed the following
result: yes, 488; no, 242.
