A certain document, two copies of which are on file in the office of the Secretary of the Borough of Milton, being marked and designated as the "BOCA National Mechanical Code, Ninth Edition, 1996," as published by the Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc., be and is hereby adopted as the Mechanical Code of the Borough of Milton, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, for the control of buildings and structures as herein provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of the said BOCA National Mechanical Code are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof, as if fully set forth in this chapter, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in §
155-2 of this chapter.
The following sections are hereby revised as
follows:
A. In Section M-101.1 (page 1, second line), insert "Borough
of Milton, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania."
B. Section M-113.0 and M-113.3 (page 4) of the Mechanical
Code of the Borough of Milton is hereby amended by replacing the existing
fee schedule for permits issued in the Mechanical Code with the following
fee schedule for said permits:

(2) Permit fees will be doubled for work started prior

C. In Section M-116.4, seventh, eighth and ninth lines
(page 5), insert: "shall be guilty of a summary offense punishable
by a fine of not less than $25 nor more than $100 or by imprisonment
not exceeding 30 days or both such fine and imprisonment."
D. In Section M-117.2, fifth and sixth lines (page 5),
insert: "Quotes are liable to a fine of not less than $25 nor more
than $100, and each day that a violation continues after notice has
been served shall be deemed a separate offense."
