The terms of office and the method of election
of the members of the Wilton Planning and Zoning Commission shall
be as follows:
A.
Commencing in November 1963, four members shall be
elected biennially at the regular municipal election to serve for
four years and until their successors are elected and have qualified.
B.
Commencing in November 1965, four members shall be
elected biennially at the regular municipal election to serve for
four years and until their successors are elected and have qualified.
C.
In November 1965, one member shall be elected for
a term to commence December 1, 1966, for a term of four years or until
his successor is elected and has qualified.

Except in the case of the initial appointments
as heretofore provided by ordinance, vacancies shall be filled by
the Board of Selectmen and the appointee shall serve until the next
regular municipal election, at which time the vacancy shall be filled
by election.
