[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Plandome Manor 11-15-2005 by L.L. No. 15-2005 (Ch. 6 of the 2005 Code). Amendments noted where applicable.]
Notwithstanding any provisions of the Uniform District Court Act and/or the Uniform Justice Court Act or the Village Law, the following officials, officers, employees and personnel of the Incorporated Village of Plandome Manor shall have the power to issue and serve, within the Village of Plandome Manor, appearance tickets in cases arising in connection with the performance of their duties. Such service shall have the same force and effect as if served by a peace officer, without their being peace officers.
A. 
Building Inspector.
B. 
Street Commissioner or authorized agent.
C. 
Any other person or persons so authorized by the Board of Trustees by resolution at an open meeting of the Board of Trustees to enforce any provision of its local laws.
Appearance tickets shall be issued in compliance with Article 150 of the Criminal Procedure Law of the State of New York.
A. 
An appearance ticket issued and served pursuant to this chapter for violation of any of the codes or local laws of the Incorporated Village of Plandome Manor shall be returned in the Village Justice Court on the first Monday of any month at 8:00 p.m. and shall be substantially in the form of the exemplars filed with the Court Clerk.
B. 
An appearance ticket may be served personally or in such a manner as permitted by law.
C. 
This summons shall be in triplicate, with the original being served upon the defendant, the second copy sent to the Court, along with the accusatory instrument, and the third kept in the files of the issuing office.
