There shall be elected from the county at large a County Clerk.
The term for this office shall begin with the first day of January
next following the election of the County Clerk and shall run for
four years. At the time of election and throughout the term of office,
the County Clerk shall be a qualified elector in the County of Sullivan.
The County Clerk shall be the official registrar of the county
and shall be designated as Records Retention Officer. The County Clerk
shall have and exercise all powers and duties now and hereafter conferred
or imposed by any applicable law.
