The organization of the Police Department of the Borough of
Bridgeville shall hereafter consist of a Chief, two Sergeants and
as many Patrolmen as Council may from time to time appoint subject
to the provisions of the Civil Service Act as set out in the Borough
Code, the Act of February 6, 1966, 53 P.S. § 46184. Council
may from time to time designate the officials assigned to each office,
but the Mayor shall continue to direct the manner in which the person
assigned to the offices shall perform their duties.

All members of the Police Department shall be subject to the
provisions of the Civil Service Act relating thereto and the rules
and regulations of the same that have now or hereafter may be approved
by the Council.
