The purpose of this of this Part shall be to regulate the age
of patrons and operating hours of business establishments whose main
function is the use of pool and billiard tables. It shall be unlawful
for any person to operate a pool or billiard hall in the Borough without
first filing with the Zoning Officer the information necessary to
obtain from the Zoning Officer the required permit to do so.

For the purpose of this Part, the following term shall have
the meaning indicated:
POOL OR BILLIARD ROOM
Any place or facility open to the general public containing
five or more pocket pool or billiard tables for use by members of
the public, except for premises under the control and jurisdiction
of the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.

All pool and billiard rooms subject to the provisions of this
Part shall be regulated as follows:
A. The maximum hours of operation shall be between the hours of 12:00
p.m. (noon) and 3:00 a.m. the following day on each of the seven days
of the week.
B. No person under the age of 16 years shall be allowed or permitted
to be present in any pool or billiard room after 10:30 p.m. unless
in the constant company of their parent; no person who is 16 but not
yet 18 years of age shall be allowed or permitted to be present in
any pool or billiard room after midnight unless in the constant company
of their parent.

Any person, either proprietor, owner, manager or superintendent
who shall violate any provision of this Part shall, upon conviction
thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine not exceeding $1,000 and costs
and, in default of payment thereof, after being accorded due process,
may be subject to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 30 days. Each
day that a violation of this Part continues shall constitute a separate
offense.
