This article now stands to clarify, reconfirm and establish the hours that represent a standard workday for elected and appointed officials reportable to the New York State and Local Employees' Retirement System.
A. 
Elected officials.
(1) 
Supervisor: six hours equal one workday.
(2) 
Councilperson: six hours equal one workday.
(3) 
Town Justice: six hours equal one workday.
(4) 
Town Clerk/Tax Collector: eight hours equal one workday.
