A. 
The Board of Trustees of the Village of Malone, New York, hereby delegates to the Mayor of the Village of Malone, New York, the power to authorize the attendance of municipal officers and employees at conventions, conferences and schools conducted for the betterment of local government. The Board of Trustees of the Village of Malone, New York, further delegates to the Mayor of the Village of Malone, New York, the power to authorize members of committees and commissions, appointed by the Mayor or the Board of Trustees, to incur such reasonable and necessary expenses as may be associated with the work of the committee or commission.
B. 
The authority so delegated shall also extend to the authority to incur such necessary and reasonable costs and expenses as may be associated with such attendance by municipal officers and employees.
C. 
The Mayor shall be obligated to report to the Board of Trustees, on a monthly basis, which officers and employees have been authorized to attend any convention, conference or school.
This local law shall become effective immediately upon filing with the Secretary of State of the State of New York.
