Dry boat storage or "ramped boat storage" shall only be permitted in cases where the site is able to accommodate proposed storage structures, adequate parking facilities and launching areas. Dry boat storage can take the place of or be combined with wet storage but the total shall not exceed the number of permitted slips on any given site established by this Part 2.
A. 
Removal or topping of trees within the Irondequoit Bay Harbor Management Plan boundary area shall be prohibited unless it is demonstrated that such activity is to be undertaken to protect the safety of the property owner or structures on said property.
B. 
Upon a finding by the authorized Town official that said activity is necessary, the property owner shall apply for and obtain an Environmental Protection Overlay District (EPOD) permit and demonstrate compliance with the conditions of said permit prior to commencement of the activity.
Pump-out facilities shall be subject to permit requirements of the Monroe County Department of Health and the Town of Penfield. Said facilities shall be sited only at marina facilities. All such facilities must adequately demonstrate access to a sanitary sewer or storage tank and have adequate landside accommodations to maintain the pump-out. Temporary storage tanks must be emptied by a NYSDEC-permitted waste hauler and maintained by the property owner/operator.
Hunting activities shall comply with the regulations identified in the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Hunting and Trapping Regulations Guide, which shall apply on Irondequoit Bay within the limits of the Town of Penfield.
