[Adopted 3-22-1967 as Ch. 14 of the 1967 Code]
On and after July 1, 1938, the use or maintenance of cesspools, septic tanks and outside toilets is forbidden within the boundaries of the Incorporated Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson where there is a sewer line existing in a street abutting that property.
At such times as the sewer system is extended into other sections of the Village, it will immediately be required that property owners make use of same and discontinue the use of cesspools, septic tanks and outside toilets.
This Part 2, having been legally advertised and posted for the required length of time, is due notice of same, and property owners failing to comply with the requirements of this Part 2 will be prosecuted by the Health Officer of the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson and will be liable to fines or imprisonments as the courts may decide.
