[HISTORY: Adopted by the Borough Council of the Borough of Muncy 10-5-1982 by Ord. No. 382 (Ch. 6, Part 3, of the 1993 Code). Amendments noted where applicable.]
No person shall consume or possess beer, wine or alcoholic beverages in an open container in or upon the property of another unless that person is a guest, licensee or invitee of the owner or occupier of the property.[1]
Editor's Note: Original Section 301, Transportation of alcoholic beverages, which immediately preceded this section, was repealed at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. I).

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $300; and/or to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 90 days. Every day that a violation of this chapter continues shall constitute a separate offense.
