A.
Section
2, § 70.67, Wis. Stats., is hereby adopted and made applicable
to the Village of Superior. The Clerk/Treasurer of the Village of
Superior will not be required to give, execute and deliver to the
County Treasurer an approved surety bond conditioned for the faithful
performances of the duties of his/her office, and the Village of Superior
obligates itself to pay, in case the Village Clerk/Treasurer fails
so to do, all state and county taxes that the Clerk/Treasurer is required
to pay to the County Treasurer.
B.
A copy of
this article shall be filed with the County Treasurer and shall be
accepted by her in lieu of bond required by Subsection 1, § 70.67,
Wis. Stats.
