The Woodstown Sewerage Authority is authorized to provide sewer services within Pilesgrove Township in any areas approved by the State of New Jersey or any entity of the State of New Jersey authorized to provide such approvals. The Pilesgrove Township Tax Collector is authorized to impose liens on any property receiving sewerage services from the Woodstown Sewerage Authority, or receiving water from any entity authorized to provide water to locations within Pilesgrove Township.
The Pilesgrove Township Tax Collector shall impose liens and advertise same for sale as if said charges had originated with a provider operating within the boundaries of Pilesgrove Township.
The Pilesgrove Township Tax Collector shall act on information provided by an authorized representative of the Woodstown Sewerage Authority regarding outstanding sewerage bills. A certification of the amount due detailing the owner, address, tax block and lot of the subject premises shall be provided by the appropriate representative of the Woodstown Sewerage Authority, and by an authorized representative of any entity providing water services to property receiving sewerage services. Upon receipt of a proper certified statement detailing the amount due and period during which services were provided and for which payment was not received, and the location of the subject premises and connection, the Tax Collector shall take all appropriate action necessary to impose a lien on the subject property, which lien shall be for the entire lot and block receiving service through an approved connection to the Woodstown Sewerage Authority.
