The Township Tax Collector and the Township Secretary are hereby authorized to review the records entrusted to them by law for evidence of the payment of taxes and/or municipal liens and to produce and prepare a written certification to persons who request the same.
The officers so authorized to provide certification notices shall do so in a reasonable, prudent manner to insure the accuracy of the information so provided.
The person requesting the municipal lien certification shall pay a reasonable fee, as established from time to time by resolution of the Board of Supervisors, for the use of the Township of Connoquenessing to be paid to the officer of whom the request is made, which officer shall collect and remit monthly to the use of the Township the funds so collected.
The person requesting the tax lien certification shall pay to the Tax Collector a reasonable fee, as established from time to time by resolution of the Board of Supervisors of the Township of Connoquenessing.
