When signs or other appropriate "no parking" markings have been
erected at reasonable distance intervals on the sides of the street
or sides of the portion of streets set forth below, no person shall,
except emergency personnel, park any vehicle on the side(s) of the
following streets or portions of streets:

Any person violating this article may be required to forfeit
not less than $20 nor more than $40 for the first offense and not
