The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this division, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
PERSONAL PROPERTY
Any tangible moving thing, including growing crops.
PUBLIC PROPERTY
Any building, monument, sign, notice, structure or fence, tree, shrub, plant, park, or property of any kind owned, controlled, or managed by the state, county, township, any school district within the township, or by another unit or agency of government whose operating budget is raised in whole or in part by public taxation.
REAL PROPERTY
Land and such property permanently attached to it; any possible interest in land; every estate, interest and right, legal and equitable, in lands, tenements and hereditaments.
WILLFULLY AND MALICIOUSLY
An act committed when known to be wrong without just cause or excuse, and with the intent to injure or destroy.

It shall be unlawful for any person within the township to willfully and maliciously destroy the real or personal property of another, or public property, or the appurtenances thereof, and where the damage done shall be $100 or less.

Any person who violates the provisions of this division shall upon conviction thereof be guilty of a misdemeanor, and subject to punishment as provided in section 1-11.
