The Board of Aldermen hereby adopts "The International Fuel
Gas Code, 2006 Edition" as published by the International Code Council,
Inc., a copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk/Treasurer
of the City of Savannah, Missouri, for regulating and governing fuel
gas systems and gas-fired appliances as herein provided; providing
for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefore; and
each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions
and terms of said Fuel Gas Code on file in the office of the City
Clerk/Treasurer of Savannah, Missouri, are hereby referred to, adopted
and made apart hereof, as if fully set out in this Section.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this Article or
any portion of the Code adopted in this Article shall be deemed guilty
of an ordinance violation and upon conviction thereof shall be fined
in an amount not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00) or be imprisoned
in the City or County Jail for a period of not exceeding ninety (90)
days, or both such fine and imprisonment. Each day such violation
is committed or permitted to continue shall constitute a separate
offense and shall be punishable as such hereunder.
