[Ord. No. 336 Art. 12, 12-14-1999]
A. Amendments Procedure. These regulations may be amended at
any time after the Board of Trustees shall have held a public hearing
on the proposed amendment. A notice of such public hearing shall be
published at least once in the official Village newspaper. Such notice
of such public hearing shall be published at least fifteen (15) days
prior to the hearing. Such notice shall fix the time and place for
such hearing and shall describe such proposal in general terms. After
such public hearing is held, the Governing Body may approve an ordinance
incorporating said changes or amendments. However, the changes in
amendments become effective only after publishing said ordinance in
the official newspaper.
B. Annual Review.
1. In order to maintain these regulations, the Planning and Zoning Board
shall annually hold a public review to consider amendments, if any,
to these regulations. Notification of such a public review may be
distributed to governmental agencies and interested parties. During
the intervening period between reviews, the Chairman of the Planning
and Zoning Board shall maintain a list of possible amendments which
may be periodically brought to the attention of the Planning and Zoning
Board.
2. All amendments or changes shall be presented to the Village Board
of Trustees for their consideration. No amendments or changes can
be effective until the Board of Trustees adopt them through the normal
process outlined above.
