The Town Board of the Town of Algoma has established an Extraterritorial Zoning Committee.
The Extraterritorial Zoning Committee shall consist of three members and two alternates appointed by the Town Board for a term of three years. Appointees must be members of either the Town Board or Planning Commission at the time of appointment. If an appointee ceases to be a member of either the Town Board or Planning Commission, a vacancy shall be created in his or her position on the Extraterritorial Zoning Committee, except that the Town Board may act to continue his or her term for the balance of the three-year term.
The functions and duties of the Extraterritorial Zoning Committee shall be as prescribed in § 62.23(7a), Wis. Stats.
