No person shall drive a vehicle upon any thoroughfare, alley,
or parking area of the Hometown Cooperative Apartments or in any shopping
center adjacent thereto at a speed greater than is reasonable and
proper, having regard to traffic and the use of the way or so as to
endanger the life or limb or injure the property of any person. The
speed of all vehicles shall be reasonable and safe and be governed
by the general requirements of the preceding sentence. In any case,
however, it shall be unlawful at any time to exceed 15 miles per hour
on any such thoroughfare, alley, or parking area.
No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle, except when necessary
to avoid conflict with other traffic, or in compliance with law or
the directions of a police officer, in any of the following places
and locations:
(A) Specific locations.

First lane east of Cicero Avenue

Second lane east of Cicero Avenue
|
|
Third lane east of Cicero Avenue and new drive extension thereof
|
|
Lane just west of Kenton Avenue all between 87th Street and
88th Street
|
(B) In areas (including public or semi-public parking lots) marked with
lines, lanes, or stalls, it shall be unlawful to park any vehicle
except within said marked lines, lanes, or stalls.
(C) Where official signs are posted in the municipal parking lots, police
areas, fire department areas and public works areas. Parking may be
prohibited by said signs to a designated class of user or users.
